The work

Loads that came in
wrong and left right.

Every one of these is freight that came through the door in Plainfield. No stock photography — this is the actual floor, and these are the actual pallets.

BA 01 Leaning stack rebuilt

A pallet of beer cases leaning hard to one side, the stack stepped out of line and the wrap loose The same freight rebuilt as two square pallets, tightly wrapped and standing straight Arrived Left
Drag to compare

What was wrong with it

The stack had stepped out badly on one corner and the film had gone slack, so the whole column was carrying its weight off-centre. Another hard brake and it would have been on the deck. No receiver signs for that.

What we did

  • Broke it down and rebuilt as two square pallets at a legal height
  • Column-stacked so the weight runs down the corners
  • Re-wrapped tight, top to deck
  • Photographed and staged for the outbound truck

BA 02 On the floor

Finished work

Square, wrapped,
and ready to ride.

Beverage freight is unforgiving — tall, heavy and top-loaded, so it punishes a sloppy stack. A lot of what comes through here looks like this.

A long row of restacked and wrapped pallets staged across the warehouse floor
Restacked and staged — a full outbound lined up
Close detail of cases stacked tight with corners aligned under clear wrap
Corners true, no step-out
A rebuilt pallet of bottled drinks wrapped and standing square
Rebuilt to a legal height
A tightly wrapped pallet of canned and bottled drinks on a blue pallet
Mixed cases, single clean stack
A wrapped pallet of cases ready for loading, warehouse racking behind
Wrapped top to deck
A pallet of bottled drinks wrapped and staged on the dock floor
Staged for the outbound
Three finished pallets waiting in front of numbered dock doors
Doors DR08 and DR09 — loading out
Two pallets loaded tight against the nose of a trailer
Loaded nose-first, weight forward
A dunnage air bag inflated in the void between two pallets inside a trailer
Void filled so it can't shift
